8 out of 10 rating. (2/15/2002)
CDMaster32 provides you with a simple interface to burn MP3s from Morpheus onto an
AudioCD. Unlike the programs you received with your CD Burner, CDMaster32 has a fully
functional Morpheus CD burner built-in. What sets us apart from other products is we have
a built-in CD Quality converter. Why do you need a converter? Many MP3s on Morpheus were
created by recording music via a sound card at non-CD Quality (CD Quality is 44.1KHz,
16bit, Stereo). If you happen to have an MP3 created from one of these WAV files, other
programs will refuse to burn them onto the CD.
CDMaster32 will automatically convert these non-CD Quality MP3 files to CD quality so
they can be burned onto the AudioCD. CDMaster32 will detect these MP3 files and handle
them for you with no action needed by you. You simply select a list of Morpheus MP3s
and CDMaster32 will burn them onto the CD for you. No hassle. No pain.
I invite you to download CDMaster32
for yourself to see just how easy it is to the Morpheus CD Burner feature of our program.
Not only does CDMaster32 burn Morpheus files onto CD but it will burn any MP3 file or WAV file onto that same CD. CDMaster32 is a
full featured program, here are some of the other features:
Download and
Install the program now and I'll walk you through the Morpheus CD Burner step-by-step.
- Open CDMaster32. You will see the Main
screen open.
- You can open the MP3 to AudioCD screen (aka Recording
Options window) by clicking either by using the RECORD menu
followed by the AudioCD Burner menu.
- Ensure that the AudioCD Burner option under Media Type box
is selected.
- "Add" any number of MP3 files by using the Add button. You can add
MP3 files for multiple directories by using the Add button as many times as you need to
get the files you want.
Hint: You can select any file format CDMaster32 supports. This includes MP3, WAV, and
Vorbis files.
- Once you add all the MP3 files you want on the CD, reorder the files if necessary using the Hand buttons or use the mouse by drag and drop reordering the files.
Optional: Enable the built-in volume normalizer to make all the tracks on the CD have the same volume.
- When you have the tracks ordered as you want, click the OK button... and the file decoder(s) will begin to process the files into WAV files.
- If necessary, the CD Quality converter will automatically convert any non-CD Quality files to CD Quality.
- If enabled, the built-in volume normalizer
will process the WAV file and normalize them to the same target volume.
- After all the MP3s have been converted by CDMaster32 to WAV, The WAV to AudioCD screen
will show up.
- Make sure your CD Writer is selected in the CDR drive setup box.
- CDMaster32 should automatically detect the proper Driver for your CDR drive.
Most CD Writers these days are MMC compatible; so this is most likely the
driver you will see.
- Select the write speed of your Recordable CD drive. CDMaster32
will detect the allowable write speeds of your media if you place a blank
disc in the writer and click the Media button. It will also detect
the size of you disc.
- Select the Write mode.
Hint: Zittware recommends you start with Simulate then Write. After you have used the program a couple of times, feel free to change the option to
Write only.
- Make sure the Finalize Disc is checked. If you fail to check this option,
CDMaster32 will not write the Table of Contents on the CD-R; which means it would not work
in any drive but your CD burner.
- Click the Add Tracks button.
- If the tracks process properly, you'll be able to click Write
CD and the AudioCD will be created.
- Once the AudioCD is created, use CDMaster32 to
help create a CD Label for your new AudioCD.
Other hints:
- Make sure you use only 74 minute CDR disks. For best results; do not use CDRW disks. For
more information click here.
- Make sure you have LOTs of disk space for the resultant WAV files. For a normal 6min
song, your looking at 60MB. If you planning on filling the entire 74mins of a CDR, you
going to need over free 784MB of space on your hard drive.
- You will need more disk space if any of the WAV files need to be converted to CD
Quality.
